Job Purpose:Provide technical and commercial assistance and application specific information to our customers and internal customer service personnel in order to promote Dana product. ::Answer customer and internal customer service product technical inquiries using engineering/production data.:Assist in determining how product is to be serviced with assistance from technical service or engineering depts:Provide internal departments with corrections to current publications where identified- Assist customers/Crossville in part dimensional information from prints- Provide support on quotes for service units, (transmissions, axles, electronic controllers- Prepare recommended inventory lists for new products/customer applications- Provide support/participate in product launch/ product phase out/complexity reduction teams- Propose service parts overhaul kits for specific components/units- Help promote the sale of these products to our customers- Provide application specific information- Provide solutions/solve problems- Help promote the sale of Dana product- Create solid customer relations and provide excellent customer satisfaction- Be a problem solver and information source for the customer, with solutions and data:Performs all other duties as assignedJob Duties and ResponsibilitiesEDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS :Associates Degree in Engineering or related area experience SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:Experience and product knowledge of Dana parts:Technical aptitude/interest:Customer focused:Superior communication skills, both oral and written Technical:Self:starter, able to accept responsibility and prioritize work load:Computer knowledge required:Ability to work as a team member:Ability to read engineering prints
